Resume Name
One of the first few parts in writing a resume is the resume name. Of course there is no point in writing a resume if you will not introduce yourself. In fact, the resume name provides the employer of information about who is applying for a position. Well it is really a very small scope of resume writing but the name is really important. Now, where do we put the name? If you will take a look at some resume samples you will see that the name of the applicant is usually provided together with the profile block. The profile block includes information such as your name, address and the contact details from phone numbers to e-mail address.
Some resume formats provide the resume name at the upper left hand portion of the paper. This is usually seen among resumes that are introducing the layout function of ease in reading. We are usually reading from left to write and top to bottom. In this case, it is a good idea to have the resume name written in the upper left corner of the document.
On the other hand, some writers will also include the resume name at the very center of the page at the top most section of the paper. This involves providing your very identify to the reader. It can also be followed by the address and the contact details just below your name. You can then provide a line to separate your information block from the rest of the page contents.
It does not really matter what format you will apply to your resume when it comes to providing your name. In fact, the more important thing is your career objective and the work experiences information. Try to come up with a resume that is both functional and effective.
