Resume Form Instruction
At one point in our lives, we will have to look for a job. This means writing a cover letter and a professional resume. But what are the main contents of a resume? This is an important question if you are a first time job seeker. There are several items that you have to include in your document. But you need to know the resume form that will give you better chances of landing on a job. Here are some of the most common parts of a resume:
Profile details – this part is written usually at the upper portion of the page. It contains your name, address and contact numbers and e-mail address.
Objective sentence – you can read our previous resume guide and tips on how to write this. Basically it is a sentence that presents your goal in applying for a job.
Work Experiences – the part that highlights all your work accomplishments from a previous organization where you have worked for. If you are a fresh graduate, then you do not need to provide any details in this section.
Education background – this part is ideal for those who do not have any work experiences. Make sure you put your academic achievements and accomplishments. It should contain your position in school, your recognitions and awards.
Skills in Abilities – this part of the resume form lists your other capabilities that may not fit in your work and education details.
References – it is like the list of people whom you are previously connected with. Do not put any relatives or close family members in this section. Also, ask for the persons’ permission before listing down their details in your resume.
